About Us

About Us

Citizens Against Substance Abuse (CASA) is a county-wide coalition.  We are made up of
members from local government agencies, businesses, schools, churches, community
organizations, media, youth, parents, law enforcement etc…  We began our work in 2004
and continue to strive to bring new and unique drug and alcohol prevention programs to
come to the meetings that we hold each month.  In fact, we appreciate the attendance of
any and all community members!

Our Mission…
“to unite community members for the purpose of preventing and reducing substance
abuse in Woodford County.”

Our Vision…
CASA envisions all sectors of the Woodford County Community joining together to
establish long term prevention and reduction of substance abuse.

Our regular meeting times are the third Tuesday of each month, 5:30 pm at the Woodford
County Health Department in Eureka and the third Thursday of each month, 9:00 AM at the
Woodford County Courthouse in Eureka.

Please join us!

We understand about busy schedules; you might not be able to attend meetings regularly,
or at all… that’s okay!  There are other way to get involved with CASA:

Join us for one of our many community outreach activities.  We are always on the lookout for
members with special skills such as media expertise, experience in the substance abuse
field, skills in nonprofit management, etc.  We are always looking to collaborate with other
community groups and local businesses.

To get involved, call or email Hillary Aggertt at the Woodford County Health  Department:
309-467-3064 extension 4709 or email haggertt@woodford-county.org

You can become a member of our group on Facebook to receive updates.

If you are looking for the Youth Coalition meeting times, they are located on the Youth Page tab.
